The Arthritis Association of Uganda is an Umbrella organization engulfing patients with different arthritis diseases like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, and Juvenile arthritis among others

OUR GOAL: " To Improve the Health Standards of People Living with Arthritis in Uganda".

Very many people in Uganda have been significantly affected by Rheumatoid and osteoarthritis because of their many challenges and these have caused a growing problem of unemployment due to loss of jobs and limited opportunities for income generation especially when it requires change of vocation due to poor health

In spite of efforts by different key players in addressing challenges faced by people living with arthritis and those affected. It has been noted that people living with arthritis diseases have not been reached by these interventions thus many PLWA have not accessed any form of care and support.
TAAU is located at Mulago National Referral and Teaching Hospital Kampala in the Republic of Uganda.
