TAAU Activities

TAAU activities help communities learn about arthritis, encourage timely assessment and connect members with practical support. TAAU brings members, families, health professionals and community partners together through education, empowerment, advocacy and practical support.

What we do

Our work centres on patient education, member empowerment, caregiver engagement, livelihoods, partnerships and advocacy.

  • Community awareness through radio and television discussions.
  • Peer and counselling sessions where members can share experiences.
  • Health education from experienced medical professionals.
  • Sensitization workshops with community organisations and health practitioners.
  • School, church and parish awareness activities, including music, dance and drama.
  • Research and sharing of information about arthritis and related conditions.
